East&Co are unlike other estate agents in Walthamstow, east London.
As a business we’re young and creative. But don’t call us hipsters. Despite the fact we have exposed brick walls in our office and we know where to find the best coffee, macaroons and sourdough in Walthamstow.
Because, at East&Co, we also love traditional local boozers, the pie and mash shop, and the fruit and veg stalls in Walthamstow market. It’s probably something to do with Daniel Reese, who set up the business in 2015. Born within the sound of Bow Bells, he grew up in the area and knows Walthamstow like the back of his hand.
He cut his teeth in property development (the family business) before moving into property letting and sales in his twenties. But fed up with a certain type of estate agent with a shiny suit, waxed hair and a bad attitude, Dan set up East&Co to give the good people of Walthamstow a completely different experience when it comes to selling a property.
Want to sell or let your home? Mosey on down to Hoe Street and come and have natter with us. Unlike some estate agents, we don’t have bottles of free water piled up in the fridge. But we can definitely make you a nice pot of Rosie.
We’re also Walthamstow’s first environmentally friendly estate agent (probably). You’ll see us buzzing around The Stow in our electric car. Or pedalling between appointments on our bicycle. And all our office materials are recycled. Apart from the teabags.
Oh and we don’t believe in charging tenant letting fees either. So we don’t. (That’s Right. Zero. Zilch. Nada. Nuffink). Pretty cool that. Well we think so anyway.
