E.P.J. Seymour produce a range of fine gentleman's small leather goods, designed in Walthamstow and hand made in Manchester by one of the last remaining British leather producers.
Each item in the collection is designed to be a subtle flash of style wrapped in the classic forms of more traditional gentlemen’s accessories. All are hand made from the finest calf leather trimmed in eight wale corduroy (otherwise known as Manchester cloth, a fabric renowned for its Englishness and durability) to add texture, tactility and a hint of colour.
E.P.J.Seymour’s logo, the red squirrel (sciurus vulgaris), identified by his pointed ear tufts distinguishing him from the non native eastern grey squirrel (sciurus carolinensis) with its round tuftless ears, is the embodiment of the values of heritage and Englishness, together with humour and a hint of eccentricity which are ingrained in all E. P. J. Seymour products.
Each style is named in honour of a public house that Mr Seymour has known and loved, as often this is where such products encounter the most arduous toil. Every aspect of the materials, manufacturing, and packaging of E.P.J.Seymour products are sourced locally in the UK.
