Working under the name Fiftyseven, Steve Mitchell is a London based graphic designer, typographer and illustrator.
Working mostly within the music industry, Steve has been screen printing for three years and has developed a style he likes to call Neo-Victorian Maximalism from a complex mix of decoration, pattern and symmetry, embedded with quasi-religious/occult/masonic symbolism, along with anything else that will fit in.
Using a restricted colour palette and especially favouring metallic inks, Steve's screenprints are mostly based around a simple visual concept revealing more and more detail the closer you look.
