We love the talented artists and artisans who live around us in Walthamstow and Waltham Forest, so when the lovely chaps at East&Co suggested a display in their offices, it sounded like a fantastic idea to us and one we started on straight away.
For some time, I’ve been thinking about the E17 Art Trail 2017, especially since attending one of their warm up events recently in the William Morris Gallery. So with that in mind, I thought this could be the start of our very own little trail, one that encourages people to buy from local producers.
What can be a better way to support the local artists, producers and businesses who sell their work and creations on the site by giving local residents and visitors to the area a chance to see and touch some of the gems we have for themselves.
So the Stow Inspired #stowlocal trail starts here, or rather at East&Co’s, thanks again guys. To start our trail, we feature the work of three amazing local artists at 252 Hoe Street, Walthamstow, E17 3AX.
You can find their work along with other local artists in our store along with original oil paintings by Julie Caves, framed limited edition prints by Jo Paul, greetings cards and framed prints by Two For Joy and a E17 frames by Marion Kent.
See their work for yourself and pop in and have a chat with the lovely guys at East & Co, Daniel and Paul while you’re there. Visit the East&Co website to find out more about how they can help you.
