We've teamed up with Waltham Forest Council to create and deliver a campaign to support the lovely artists, designers, makers and small businesses in Waltham Forest this Christmas. And we're very excited about it.
See also our updated pages Christmas Pop-up Shop and Inspired Events.
The campaign focuses on this lovely Christmas Tree made of stars to depict the many small businesses that make up our amazing community which spans Walthamstow, Leyton, Leytonstone, Wood Street, Chingford and Highams Park. Businesses are being asked to display a Christmas Star on their websites, shop windows and at Christmas markets to encourage shoppers follow the stars to buy their Christmas gifts this year and support local businesses.
But here's the really exciting bit, we're opening a Stow Inspired Christmas Pop-up Shop in a middle of one of the busiest shopping areas in Walthamstow at one of the busiest weeks of the year!! Yay!!
In collaboration with Waltham Forest Council, we're bringing together a collection from local artists, designers and makers, some of which sell on our site, some of which we've yet to meet.
The shop is located at Central Parade on Hoe Street, Walthamstow, E17 and opens on Tuesday 29 November for one week. In addition, we are planning to host a series of inspirational talks and events for local businesses, well just because we can. We hope you'll pop in to say hello.
